Grace Will Fall are a Swedish hardcore punk rock five piece with a strong punk attitude, who don't consider trends. They formed in Jönköping, Sweden in 2002 with the basic, simple idea to create wild hardcore punk rock and have a blast doing it, taking a wide rang of influences through Tragedy, Ben Folds, Dillinger Escape Plan, Lamb of God, Clutch, Soundgarden, Bjork, and Norma Jean. Grace Will Fall quickly achieved national airplay and were invited onto various compilations. In 2004 they then released a split 7" with sludge doom legends Counterblast and another in 2006 with punk/hardcore act M:40. During 2006 Grace Will Fall self-produced an album for release with distribution partners in Europe. With the extremely well received album, Grace Will Fall commenced a European tour to further promote the album. In 2008, the band played shows in 7 different countries and at the same time recorded songs for a 2nd album in between tours. 'Second Album' was recorded & produced in GWF's own studio called HoboRec, and mixed by GWF singer, 'Ulf'. The aim for the album was to write something original but memorable. "To just make something different would be quite easy, to make it different and memorable, that's the tricky part." Now in 2009, with a fresh new record Grace Will Fall are ready to serve the world another dish of Swedish hardcore with the new release 'Second Album'. Grace Will Fall 's music has been played on Sweden's biggest radio channel P3. and the band have played festivals include a headline slots at 'Fonofest' (Latvia, 2008), 'Midsummer Open Air' (Germany, 2009), Siesta (Sweden, 2009) supporting Cult of Luna, and also 'P3 Popstad' (Sweden, 2004) where 'In Flames' headlined. GWF have also performed shows/tours with bands such as Dead Flesh Fashion (Germany), Talk Radio Talk (Germany). The band will be touring the western parts of Europe (Holland, France, Switzerland, Western Germany) April 2009, and June will see them tour in the UK.
