DEADMARCH is the first version of The Project Hate MCMXCIX. Just like The Project Hate MCMXCIX, Deadmarch is Lord K. Philipson’s (God Among Insects & Odyssey, tour session for Grave, Dark Funeral) brainchild together with Mia Stahl on female vocals and Mikael Öberg, growls. The DEADMARCH album 'The Project Hate MCMXCIX: Initiation of blasphemy' is recorded back in 1998 with Tomas Skogsberg at the famous Sunlight Studios in Stockholm, Sweden (Entombed, Dismember Grave etc). The initial plan was to record some extra vocals with Jörgen Sandström (ex Grave / Entombed, now The Project Hate and Krux) and to release the DEADMARCH album under the The Project Hate MCMXCIX moniker. Strangely, Skogsberg told Philipson the day before he was to enter the studio with vocalist Sandström that he had lost the master tapes. So the DEADMARCH album release was put on ice until Vic Records signed The Project Hate as it was obvious this pearl had to be released. The album is finally mastered by Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Dissection) at Unisound, Sweden, 2008. All cover and booklet artwork by Marko Saarelainen (The Project Hate, Pestilence).
