A PERFECT DAY (AKA APD) is the side project of the Italian Power Metal institution Laybrinth, with the vocalist Roberto Titranti and guitarist Andrea Cantarelli, plus drummer Alessandro Bissa.This, their third album, is entitled 'With Wide Eyes Open'. Ten intense songs that mix metal influences with strong hard blues from bands like Black Stone Cherry and Blackberry Smoke, plus some post-grunge elements too. Lyrically, it is about small everyday frescoes - the existential questions of man. Musically very playful, A Perfect Day feels like a big step forward for the band.
