TEN DIGIT FREAK
WEIRD THINGS, THE
Ten Digit Freak, the Weird Things’ debut album features “crashing guitar riffs and rock ‘n’ roll integrity, topped off with infectious hooks”, according to Vive Le Rock magazine, which awarded ‘Ten Digit Freak’ 8/10 for its authentic blend of punk-infused garage rock. Lead singer Charlie gets veteran support from Case drummer Martin Parrott and Tenpole Tudor’s Dick Crippen who together provide the momentum and experience that fires up The Weird Things’ backline.
Within the space of just 12 months the band has built up a loyal following and a reputation for high energy live shows, which has seen them playing to packed venues and festivals across London and the south east. The seven-piece band has already supported Penetration, Chelsea and Johnny Moped and appeared alongside Ruts DC, Geno Washington and The Angelic Upstarts. The BBC also reported on The Weird Things’ gig in support of the NHS’ work with mental health patients.
Gigs and festival appearances are already being booked for 2018, which promises to be an even busier year for the band.
