Two bands that probably don't need an introduction anymore teamed up for this split release on Aggrobeat Records.
The Warriors from England were originally formed in 1981 by original Last Resort singer Saxby, but very soon the band called it a day.
In the mid 90ies the band was reformed by Saxby and former-Last Resort bass player Arthur Kitchener and do shows in the United Kingdom, mainland Europe and even Japan.
In between several line-up changes the band released several albums through various English record labels.
Since 2007 the band has a, more or less, stable line-up and releases two new albums (2010 and 2012) and contributes to several compilations and split EP's.
From that time the band has a more punk inspired sound, but without losing its raw edge.
Before and after the recording of the Never Forgive, Never Forget album (2012) The Warriors did several other studio sessions.
During these recordings the band re-recorded older songs, a few covers and several new songs.
The Warriors side of this split LP features songs from these sessions.
Halbstarke Jungs from Germany represents a younger generation and was founded in 2008.
Within a short period of time the band recorded a demo and played various gigs throughout Germany with bands like Oxo86 and Toxpack.
Not much later the band signed with Sunny Bastards Records from Germany and released the Dissonant album in 2011.
To promote the band outside their home country they re-recorded some songs in English and booked an English tour where the band played with bands like Keyside Strike and of course with their friends from Red Alert.
