Debut album for the young duo of Meggie Hill and Jez Ritchie aka Meg'n Jez. Produced by the legendary Peter Walsh (e.g. Simple Minds, Peter Gabriel, Pulp, Scott Walker)Meg and Jez originally met in January 2001, at the side of an arctic cold swimming pool in a hotel on the tourist ridden south coast of Gran Canaria. Meggie Hill was four years old and Jez Ritchie had just turned two. But they already had a lot in common. They both lived in Germany, Jez in Düsseldorf and Meg close to Mannheim, but both were growing up bi-lingually as their respective fathers both came from England. 10 years later it would become clear that they shared much more. Not only a love of music, but talent. Since 2011 they are performing together and last summer they took the big step from small venues to stadium stages when they supported Germany's platinum selling Punkrock band "Die Toten Hosen" on fourteen shows and reached an overall audience of 400.000 (!) people. Early 2014 they started recording their debut albut "Follow It Down" with producer Peter Walsh (Simple Minds, etc). It's a great mixture of cover versions like "Lion And The Lamb" or "Call Of The Wild" (both originally performed by singer/songwriter legend TV Smith), "Wish You Were Here", "Son Of A Preacher Man" and songs written by Meg'n Jez themselves, like the current single "By Myself".
