12.14.02. Scarlet reopened the knife wound they gave the world two years prior. Their home base of Richmond, Virginia was jolted back into consciousness as Scarlet took the stage for their first show in over two years.
With a previous release, an EP entitled "Breaking The Dead Stare", they dropped the jaws of fans when they announced their breakup in 2000. Some members went on to other projects including Spitfire, of Tooth and Nail records, but in the summer of 2002, the wealth of the original members reunited to record a new album.
The rebirth of Scarlet began as a studio project, but with the addition of more players it became evident that momentum was building, and something greater than merely releasing a record was necessary: an erotic wave of terror and ferocity that will reshape and revolutionize the face of metallic hardcore.
Scarlet now signed to Roadrunner Records!
