The cheeky debut album from Japan’s #1 singer-songwriting gravure idol Ena Fujita! The MISS iD 2017 winner, awarded to Japan’s most exciting, fun new women in the entertainment industry, began by playing on the streets of Tokyo armed with her pink gem-encrusted microphone, a guitar and amp, and has since been snapped up by one of Japan’s biggest domestic labels; King Records (home of pop phenomenon AKB48 and Korea’s B.A.P.). She’s built a career as a pin-up model and TV celebrity whose blog has reached #1 on LINE Blog, one of Japan’s biggest social networking sites, but making music has always been where her passion lies.
BIKINI RIOT has a collection of fun, energetic pop-rock tracks, all entirely written by Fujita, as well as one club track under her rap alter-ego MC BIKINI, the name she uses when hosting underground rap battles across Tokyo.
The album follows her digital EP EVIL IDOL SONG, the title track of which was used in a B-horror film starring Ena Fujita where the singer and her song were cursed by a demon, and would cause the listener’s head to explode upon listening.
