With every man and his dog seeming to embrace ‘The Prog’ – Muse conquering the world, the incredible sales figures for Future Publishing’s PROG magazine – along come some accomplished youngsters to stir it up yet again.
MAE’S LOST EMPIRE formed in 2008 after local Sheffield bands Saving:Mitsuko and The Fourth Way both met an early grave. Paul, Chris and Lucas from The Fourth Way quickly joined forces with Rob from Saving:Mitsuko and set about making their presence known in the local music scene. In early 2009 Mae's Lost Empire independently released two EPs entitled "Follow The Red Lights" and "Dark Suit, Subtle Label" and set off on tour across the UK promoting them, winning many fans alng the way. In September 2009, Mae's Lost Empire signed to Rising Records and began writing material for their debut album which was recorded in March 2010. The album will be available worldwide at the end of August 2010.
