In 1992, PWEI took the radical step of recruiting a drummer, one Fuzz Townsend. After honing their hip hop / techno / rock fusion over three previous albums, “The Looks Or The Lifestyle” saw them take a more traditional, ‘song’ orientated approach, whilst managing to retain their live popularity and increase their commercial success. The record bore several hit singles (‘Karmadrome’, ‘Bulletproof’, ‘Get The Girl! Kill The Baddies’) and also introduced them to a new audience in the wake of the grunge explosion of 1991.
