RAM are undoubtedly Sweden´s true metal defenders. The band was founded in 1999 by guitarist Harry Granroth and has steadily build up their reputation as one of the best bands that the European metal underground has to offer.
Now, after one own-pressing and their official debut album “Forced Entry” (from 2005), RAM are more than ready to make the next step. Countless sweaty live gigs have forged the unit of RAM together. They are no overnight sensation, no victims of trends or fashion: RAM just do what they love: to raise the spirit of true heavy metal and let the music do the talking.
RAM´s musical influences are obvious: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Mercyful Fate left their marks in the RAM sound. But at the same time there is always a strong original feel throughout all of the material.
