Brave The Cold is a extreme metal duo formed in 2018 by two well-known figures in the metal scene: Mitch Harris (Napalm Death, Righteous Pigs, Defecation, Meathook Seed) and Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth). The project blends elements of death metal, grindcore, thrash and experimental aggression. According to Mitch it's the best form of his roots with Defecation and Napalm Death you can get nowadays. The band's debut album Scarcity was released in 2020, produced by Logan Mader (ex-Machine Head, ex SoulFly guitar player and producer for both bands and Cavalera Conspiracy, W.A.S.P.). Cover and booklet artwork by Santiago Jaramillo (Immolation, Lock Up, Pestilence). Two special (experimental) bonus tracks added. Extensive liner notes by Olivier Zoltar Badin (Cradle of Filth, Dark Funeral, Cathedral) with Mitch.
