Buffalo Springfield was formed in Los Angeles in 1966, bringing together musicians from both the US and Canada. The core lineup included Stephen Stills (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Neil Young (guitar, harmonica, piano, vocals), Richie Furay (guitar, vocals), Bruce Palmer (bass), and Dewey Martin (drums, vocals). The band's sound was a unique blend of folk rock, country rock, and psychedelic rock. They were pioneers in the folk-rock genre. Despite their short lifespan (1966-1968), Buffalo Springfield had a lasting impact on music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. This CD features rarities from the year 1967.
