Burshtyn is an epic Black Metal band from Eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv in the Kharkiv Oblast (in the middle of the Russo-Ukrainian war and several bandmembers do their military service at the front right now). Formed in 2015 and released four albums so far. Their highly acclaimed second album from 2017 is now finally available outside Ukraine. Lyrical themes of Burthsyn are anti-religion, Ukrainian mysticism and history and the history of the Cossacks. For fans of Kroda, Nokturnal Mortum, Drudkh and Hate Forest. Burshtyn can be warmly recommended to all connoisseurs of modern black metal who want variety.
