2013 marked the return of cult singer Leather Leone to the ranks of the band CHASTAIN run by guitar legend David T. Chastain 20 years after her temporary departure. The chemistry in between both enlightened spirits swung in the same harmony as it did in the early days of their musical community and therefore this new creative gathering spawned a US metal masterpiece of timeless beauty named “Surrender to no one”.
The originally recorded, more playfully arranged and genuine version of this musical achievement by both of our heroes and their well oiled rhythm crew had actually been skipped in favour of a rather sharpened and smoothed variant but will now see the light of day for the pleasure of each US metal aficionado in its entire wealth and glory.
A more vivid and earthy sound, considerably longer solos and partially entirely different arrangements of a couple of songs make this album a duty to own and worship for each devoted CHASTAIN fan.
