After making us wait 27 years for their last album “Master Of Illusion” many thought that CRIME were just a flash in the pan. However, in 2025, just three years later, the band have proved us wrong with their new album, “Cold Air”! CRIME was founded in the good old 90s and hails from the Swabian town of Geislingen an der Steige. They quickly released two CDs, of which a total of over 5,000 copies were sold. The band even built up a loyal fan base in Japan. Their song “Get Out Of This Jail” was part of the playlist at Rockfabrik Ludwigsburg for years and is still an integral part of many metal parties today. Fast forward: Following the success of Master of Illusion and shaking off the patina formed during their long break, “Cold Air” with its 14 new songs aims to propel the band in the fast lane and catapult them back into the limelight. Whether hard or soft - CRIME still master the art of creating captivating and catchy songs. Riffs and beats characterize the groove making room for melodic hooks and gripping vocals. With a lot of passion and expertise, the band still delivers unmistakable rock and metal anthems as well as emotional songs that touch the heart. It’s a true feast for all lovers of groove-oriented Heavy Rock. Produced, mixed and mastered by Andy Kemmer, who also played bass on the album, “Cold Air” also shines with a fat sound that brings the songs to life!
