BALGEROTH is the third and final part of the Trinity of Blood Gods - consisting of DEBAUCHERY, BLOOD GOD and BALGEROTH. BALGEROTH’s songs are savage, brutal and in German. Yes, German is spoken here. That's the point of the album title "In der Hölle spricht man Deutsch", which means something like "We speak German in hell". BALGEROTH's songs are in German only and are free of any political message. BALGEROTH is the king of Blood Gods. His lyrics are about his creatures and the wars in hell, on Eden and on the apocalyptic battle fields of (a future) earth. Tracks like the mean "Blutgott Blitzkrieg" tell stories about the Drakornaut Beasts, who invade human colonies and mutilate and burn its residents. Songs like "Schlachte den Teufel" and "Jenseits des Himmelstores" will lead you into the deviant world of demon hunters, dragon-angels and their battle against the demonic legions. Critics might say that all of this is inhumane and glorifies violence - but you could say the exact same thing about Grimm's original fairy tales, right? Even more so, if we talk about the BALGEROTH album. It is an unconventional mix that you have not heard before. The lines of the genres blur here; Motörhead meets Judas Priest meets Rammstein. Expect double-bass attacks, fast downstroke guitar parts, as you may have heard them while listening to Metallica, and grim and catchy lyrics about dark fantastic worlds with heavy riffs that will steamroll over you.
