DRAPSLAG
KÄNGORNA PA!

It was during the plague year of 2020, in a house out in the deepest parts of Skaraborg, way out on the Swedish plains and deep in the forests surrounding Lugnåsberget, just outside Mariestad, that Dråpslag was born.

Fast-forward through three critically acclaimed EPs packed with hard-hitting Oi! and punk bangers, and the time has finally come for Dråpslag to unleash their debut full-length, "Kängorna på!". The album will be released on CD, vinyl and streaming on December 4, 2026. Dråpslag have already been hailed by, among others, Anthony Ceylan of Rockbloggen.se as "one of Sweden's most interesting punk/Oi! bands", and "Kängorna på!" is set to prove exactly why. The first taste of the album comes in the form of the single "Krigets hundar", dropping digitally on Friday, September 25. The release comes courtesy of acclaimed Swedish indie punk label DiSTAT, home to acts including Bödel, Deny, Pastoratet and Blisterhead.

Today, Dråpslag reveal the artwork and tracklisting for their debut album Kängorna på! The striking cover artwork was created by artist and Brute Force Trauma vocalist Anders Ringström. The album was recorded and mixed by Erik Jonsson and Foffe Knutsson at Wreckship Studios in Mariestad. The album features six brand-new tracks, released digitally as an EP. The physical vinyl and CD editions also include the 2025 EP "Kir och komplimanger", bringing the total to 10 explosive punk bangers loaded with street punk, Oi and kir.

Adding even more pedigree to the release, the album features a guest appearance by legendary Tomas Jonsson of Anti Cimex / ex. Wolfpack on the track "Pansarnäven".

With members drawn from Wolfpack/Wolfbrigade, Brute Force Trauma, Myteri and other Swedish punk outfits, Dråpslag bring serious pedigree and plenty of attitude to the table.

The boots are on. The fists are up. Dråpslag are ready.
