Ella Fitzgerald's repertoire ranged from swing, blues, and gospel to jazzed-up songs. She´s the queen of jazz. This CD includes songs with Duke Ellington, one of the most influential jazz musicians. As a composer, he wrote nearly 2,000 songs. The songs included here were recorded in Les Pins in 1966. This CD features also recordings by Fitzgerald and Joe Pass. Milestones in Pass's career were his duets with singer Ella Fitzgerald. The songs featured here were recorded in Paris in 1976.
