GENE AUTRY
HIS CHRISTMAS ALBUM (GREEN + WHITE SPLATTER)

Nicknamed the “Singing Cowboy,” Gene Autry became one of the most beloved figures in twentieth-century American culture. Singer, songwriter, Hollywood star, rodeo performer and accomplished businessman, Autry helped shape the image of the singing  cowboy through countless films, radio shows and recordings that left their mark on several generations. While his influence on country and western music remains considerable, he is today most closely associated with the festive season through a series of timeless classics that have become essential listening the world over, among them “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty

the Snowman” and “Here Comes Santa Claus.” Warm, nostalgic and endlessly charming, these songs have accompanied Christmas celebrations for decades. Long out of print and increasingly hard to track down on vinyl, this treasured collection returns today in a deluxe edition featuring a side OBI strip, printed inner sleeve and a STUNNING GREEN AND WHITE SPLATTER VINYL. A holiday classic, rediscovered.
