HIDAS is an instrumental trio from Munich that is rooted in doom metal but likes to push boundaries.
The band was formed in spring 2023, but Flo Bätz (guitar), Christoph Mühlbauer (drums) and Richard Noyn (bass) have already played together in various bands and have been making music together for years. This is evident in how tight they are as a unit, which is best experienced at one of their live concerts.
HIDAS not only manage to close the supposed gap in the sound and storytelling of an instrumental band through their intelligent songwriting, but also turn it into their strength.
