The Finnish duo with the unusual name, which translates as Spice Girls, will probably have caught the eye of anyone who has already seen the new Aki Kaurismäki film "Falling Leaves". Here, the two sisters appear at Kaurismäki's request and perform their eerily sad and beautiful songs…
"Kaikki tiet vievät Peltolaan" is the band's debut album, released in 2019. The album reached the number one spot on both the official Finnish album chart and the physical album chart in its opening week. The 2,000-copy vinyl edition of the album had already sold out before the chart rankings were announced. In December of the release year, the album achieved gold certification and was the second-best-selling domestic album of the year. The album's title is a reference to the area where various psychiatric departments of Oulu University Hospital are located.
