In the late '80s, thrash metal had established itself in Germany and played a leading role worldwide. Already at that time, some bands wanted more than just playing fast and aggressive. Thrash metal became more sophisticated and technical.
While other acts initially played straight and later incorporated progressive elements, Hamburg‘s MEGACE delivered a sophisticated thrash package right from their formation in 1988. With vocalist Melanie Bock, who could do both guttural thrash shouting and melodic singing, MEGACE stood out from other bands.
After some demo tapes praised by the international press, they signed with 1MF Records. In July 1991, they recorded their debut album "Human Errors", which received widespread acclaim and still has fans worldwide today.
In 2025, Golden Core releases the first official reissue of this genre classic. The CD version includes the previously unreleased AAARRG Records demos recorded in 1989. The CD features a 16-page booklet; the LP includes a printed insert. Separate masters for LP and CD!
