Mastermind Michelle Darkness and his band End of Green have been clothed in glory by the dark side of the musical history for several times. Owing to the sonorous and characteristic voice from singer, songwriter and guitarist Michelle as well as his masculine and typical dark appearance the band rose in the black scene enormously and is dealt as one of the very big ones. In order to set a contrast to the last chart album „Dead End Dreaming“ Michelle decided to isolate and hide in the depths of his crypt in order to focus his mind on his own massed projects - while the rest of the band spent time on finishing the new album. “Frankly, it is really scaring me that I have written such a huge amount of songs and that they pile more and more. It is the intention of my solo project to break through the circle of album, tour, rest and to use the creative atmosphere from the work on the new End of Green album for my own recording. Since years I have been on fire to realise my own wishes – my own dreams!” Backed by the successful label AFM Records (Theatre Of Tragedy and others) the charismatic artist found the label that fits the most. With no comparison the company supports his work and his interests. The label discovered his talent fast and they support his work and interests incomparably: “It was simply the perfect time to act. The deep wish that crawled in my mind made me slightly mad because it became to my single intention to record my own songs. The album is produced by Nino Laurenne in Helsinki’s Sonic Pump Studios (Apocalyptica, Sunrise Avenue), mastered by Finnvox (Nightwish, H.I.M., The 69 Eyes) with Minerva Pappi. As one of the big artists the master of the evil sounds had pre-produced his ideas and songs in his Homestudio Darkness Production for showing the Finnish guys what was coming up to them.
