Resonance is the third instalment in the A Plague Tale series, a franchise widely praised and awarded for its emotional storytelling, artistic direction, and musical achievements. This chapter, however, marks a significant departure in both setting and historical context, transporting players to Greece across two distinct time periods: the Middle Ages and the Minoan civilization. The score embraces a mystical and emotional identity, seamlessly moving between instrumental music and original songs for which Olivier Derivière composed both the music and the lyrics. The goal was to create a musical language that could express both the intimacy of the characters and the grandeur of the world they inhabit.
