In the year 1990 the 4th Pavlov`s Dog Album Lost In America was released, an album which nobody was expecting. Until now it was only available in USA. Now Rockville presents the first regular release in Europe. Containing additional 8 bonustracks - a compilation of rare and unreleased liverecordings from 1990 to 2006 – this release is a real jewelcase for the fans. In 1990 it anyway was 13 years since Pavlov`s Dog split, while recording their 3rd album Has Ayone Here Seen Sigfried, wrecked and frustrated. The remarkable thing about that is, that only just three years before Pavlov`s Dog were the biggest newcomers to arrive on the prog scene, expected to climb to the peak of rock music.
In the period of 13 years Pavlov`s Dog had been vanished completely, a mystical aura arose surrounding Pavlov`s Dog, whose lead singer David SurKamp owned this unbelievable voice falsetto. 13 years the insistent rumor spread around David Surkamp had died from inhaling helium before singing. This seemed to be self evident, how could somebody of that extraordinary quality in singing an songwriting simply vanish, besides having died? After all four of the original band members contributed to Lost In America. Lost In America is no boring and halfheated reincarnation of the „old“ Pavlov`s Dog, for nostalgics stuck in the 70ies. It is a felicitous developed transfer of the old spirit into the period of the late 80ies.
