Phantoms are back! With a new long player!
Fresh, captivating, and unpredictable, the Phantoms‘ new songs burst into the ears through the speakers, drawing the listener into a new world full of emotions and adventure. The new album „FOREVER DARK“ will be released on December 5, 2025.
Over 30 years ago, the Phantoms launched their career with a sensational, sold-out concert at the Musiktheater Piano Ain Dortmund. On December 6, 2025, the Phantoms are back on stage!
In the 1990s, the Phantoms caused a sensation with over 800 unforgettable concerts, tours with Iggy Pop, Stranglers, Sisters of Mercy, Sex Pistols, Cypress Hill, Prodigy, and many others, their magical, mystical music, nine albums, and their unique stage show. In the mid-nineties, the song „SUN“ was in the top 3 of the official German DAC charts alongside Metallica‘s „One“ and Nirvana‘s „Smells Like Spirit“ and filled rock dance floors across Europe. The Phantoms produced the first official soundtrack, „Sea Warrior,“ for Sea Shepherd. On the TV show Arabella, they admitted to using hashish with their song „Mary Jane,“ which was also featured on the current Sportstudio program... The Phantoms turned the world upside down!
After a hiatus of over 20 years and forays into other musical projects, Sir Hannes had a strong desire to revive the Phantoms.
The video clip for „SUN“ was now being produced, something Sony Music had neglected at the time. A new song, „STOCKING GIRL,“ was also released.
Unfortunately, the original line-up could no longer perform due to death and illness, so a lengthy search for and finding the ideal line-up was necessary.
