PONTILLO AND THE VINTAGE CREW
FOR THE LOVE OF BLUES

Since his time with Pure Inc., Gianni Pontillo has been most notable in the recent past as the vocalist for German hard rock legend VICTORY. But Gianni Pontillo's big dream has always been to produce his own album. Now this dream has become reality. With his band THE VINTAGE CREW and various guest musicians, ten stirring songs were created. Some of them Pontillo composed solo on the piano, others were written by guitarists Marc Elliot and Stefan Schroff. In addition to many Swiss colleagues, the album also features a top international star: Keyboard legend Derek Sherinian, who has made music history as a live and studio musician with bands like Dream Theater, Black Country Communion, Sons of Apollo, Alice Cooper, Billy Idol and Joe  Bonamassa. The production of the album took over 2 years and the result impressively shows the metamorphosis of the artist from a hard rocker to a  soulful blues rocker and singer/songwriter. PONTILLO & THE VINTAGE CREW is a collaboration of musicians from all over the world, but most of all a joint work of good friends.
