On the whole, Night Danger is a speed metal record, but one imbued with a prominent sense of classic heavy metal. Put another way, think of how bands like Judas Priest, Riot, and Manowar – and then Running Wild, Helloween, and Razor right after – took traditional metal and juiced it up just enough to make it truly METAL and sometimes speed metal, and there in that rarefied territory will you find REVENGE.
