Ruadh (pronounced roo-ah) started as the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Tom Perrett from Glasgow Scotland. Beginning life as a solo project, Ruadh signed almost immediately after completing the debut album on a worldwide deal with Northern Silence Productions. The project has gone from strength the strength, carving a name internationally with the release so far of three albums. Ruadh changed from solo project to a full band after album 3 and played their first show overseas at Darktroll Festival in Germany. More live gigs are planned with the now stable line-up. Like its predecessors the material on the new album “1296” also explores Scotland’s history and mythology as a nation within a musical context, where each album tells a story about a particular period within the nation’s rich history.
