Formed in 1996 deep in the Bavarian Forest, Seasons In Black have carved out their own unmistakable path through nearly three decades of metal evolution. Originally emerging from the underground as a black metal project, the band has grown into a unique force blending elements of death metal, gothic, hardcore, groove and doom into what they now call Doomcore - a sound marked by brooding melodies, punishing riffs and raw emotional weight. Fronted by the multifaceted Lucki Maurer – known to many as a TV chef, author and Wagyu breeder, but to the metal world as a relentless vocalist and bassist – Seasons In Black have stormed everything from underground clubs to major festival stages. Their live shows are pure energy, channeling the experience of countless gigs at home and abroad into every performance. The band’s long-standing lineup - Lucki Maurer (vocals/bass), Roman Adam (guitar), Harald Hemauer (drums) and Markus Neumeier (keys/vocals) - was reinvigorated in 2021 with the addition of lead guitarist Leon Hanff. With this renewed fire, Seasons In Black are entering what they proudly call their “third spring.”

To mark the band's 30th anniversary, Seasons In Black and Apostasy Records are releasing the two previous albums, “The Swansong Diaries” and “Deadtime Stories,” on vinyl in exclusive colors and very limited to 200 pieces worldwide!
