For their second album Stoneface has teamed up with vocalist Stefan Nykvist and keyboardist Johan Chasseur. As, always it’s classical Stoneface-sound, but with an added dimension through magic keyboards created by Johan as well as Stefan’s powerful voice, taking command when required.
Stoneface shows a high level of musicianship and a unique progressive metal-sound. Thunderous singing with thoughtful and current lyrics. The band’s professionality has been shaped by musical experiences that covers more than 35 years
The music is rooted in the 1970s and 1980s and is lightly influenced by bands like Black Sabbath, Rush, Dream Theater, UFO, Metallica. The lyrics deals with various topics such as death, love, corruption, good and evil and the mixing is signed Viktor Stenqvist and mastering Thomas “Plec” Johansson. Recording was done by Martin Jacobson Studio Rovljud/Studio CJMC (Orebro, Sweden).
