The band was founded in 1993 in Munich, Germany.
After the worldwide release of four CDs and extensive touring with bands like Blind Guardian, Grave Digger and others, the former "Metal Heart Magazin - Newcomer" STORMHAMMER are back with a brand new album and a strong line-up featuring founding members Manni Ewender and Horst Tessman!
The new vocalist Jurgen Dachl (ex-Diabolos Dust), coming from a heavy and thrash metal background, adds even more power to the sound of the band!
Naturally, the other new band members - guitarist Bernd Intveen (ex-van Langen, ex-The Roxx) and the recently returned drummer Chris Widmann (ex-Emergency Gate) - also add their strong influences to STORMHAMMER’s music.
