TRACK LIST

By the time Taylor Swift released her fifth studio album 1989 in 2014, she had already established herself as one of the most influential and successful artists of her generation. Emerging as a teenage country prodigy with a gift for diaristic songwriting, her early albums steadily expanded her audience beyond Nashville, culminating in the global phenomenon of Fearless (2008) and the confessional maturity of Red (2012). Each release marked a deliberate evolution in sound and scope, blending country roots with pop ambition while producing chart-dominating singles and building a rapidly growing international fanbase.
1989 marked Swift’s most decisive artistic pivot yet, fully embracing mainstream pop while retaining the narrative intimacy that defined her work. Inspired by the shimmering textures of 1980s synth-pop, the album replaced acoustic instrumentation with glossy production, layered hooks and bold, self-aware lyricism. It was met with widespread critical acclaim and extraordinary commercial success, cementing Swift’s position at the forefront of contemporary pop. Debuting at number one across multiple territories, it went on to win numerous accolades, including the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, further validating her reinvention.
The accompanying ‘1989 World Tour’, which ran from 5 May to 12 December 2015, was an ambitious global spectacle that brought her new sonic identity vividly to life. Spanning North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, it became the highest-grossing tour of the year, underlining her unparalleled draw as a live performer. Musically, the setlist leaned heavily on 1989, with its synth-driven arrangements shaping the tone of the show, while earlier hits were reimagined with a sharper, more electronic edge. The result was a cohesive and exhilarating performance that seamlessly bridged past and present.
Recorded at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on 18 September 2015, this concert stands as one of the defining performances of the tour. The energy of the audience, combined with Swift’s commanding stage presence, lifts each song into a shared experience. Featuring a guest appearance from Sydney Sierota of Echosmith on their hit ‘Cool Kids’, the show is a tour de force, delivering both spectacle and musical precision with ease.
