That’s All Folks! were true pioneers of heavy psychedelia in Italy, champions of a genre—often simplified as "stoner"—that blends hard blues, punk, and distorted psychedelia.
The band formed in Bari in the early 1990s, bringing together Claudio Colaianni (vocals and guitar), Michele Rossiello—aka "Lupin III"—(bass), and Nino "Crampo" Colaianni (drums). After a debut leaning more towards noise rock, the trio refined their sound and released the 7-inch single *You Gotta Pay/Smoke* (El Borracho, 1994). This was followed by a lineup change—with Vito Rucci taking over on drums and Nino "Crampo" switching to second guitar—and the release of the mini-album *Reptile Soul* (Toast Records, 1996).
Then came their encounter with the Californian band Nebula; they shared a split release, *Vulcan Bomber/Aquasphere* (Last Scream Records, 1997)—on which the Bari-based group showcased space/kraut-rock influences—and embarked on a legendary joint tour of Italy in 1998.
