The US Metal band THRUST are legends, and one of the first metal bands from Chicago. With their 1984 debut album "Fist Held High" and songs like the title track "First Held High" or the underground anthem "Posers Will Die", they gained their stellar reputation. Two years after their comeback album, the band present "The Helm Of Awe". Thrust remain true to themselves, even after all these years. Classic US Heavy Metal, catchy and distinctive, often melodic, is what we have here - they are the 'real deal'. If classical metal continues its comeback, it will be due to brilliant bands like the mighty Thrust!
