Back on Black proudly delivers the long-awaited CD reissue of Hell's Rebirth, the legendary fifth studio album from Chicago's ultimate death-doom underground stalwarts, Cianide. Originally unleashed in 2005, this direct, blunt-force slab of primitive American death metal is officially back in print on compact disc.
For over three decades, Cianide has stood as one of the most uncompromising, trend-free pillars of the underground. While known globally for pioneering a massive, sewer-dredging death-doom crunch, Hell's Rebirth captures the power trio at their most traditionally aggressive. Stripping back the slower sludgy elements in favor of a devastating, driving tempo heavily inspired by Hellhammer and Chicago forebears DeathStrike, this album delivers relentless riffs, face-melting solos, and pure headbanging energy.
Long out of print and highly sought after by collectors, this definitive reissue on Back on Black makes a mandatory death metal masterpiece accessible once again to the global masses.
