"Time's Up"! Australian street-punkers "The Clinch" are finally crossing the pond with their brand-new third album and their first-ever European tour! Their debut, "Our Path Is Gone", dropped in 2018, and the five-piece band from Melbourne quickly became a band to watch: no-nonsense, rough-and-tough Aussie street punk with a dirty rock 'n' roll edge à la Rose Tattoo and a dash of American "brickwall" Oi! Add to that lyrics that steer clear of the usual clichés, plus gang vocals used sparingly yet always effectively to get the crowd moving. Comparisons to bands like Bonecrusher or Bishops Green soon began to circulate. With their follow-up album "Basecamp" - released two years later - The Clinch cemented their reputation; critics worldwide, from Maximum RocknRoll to Ox-Fanzine, agreed: this band has that special something and is ready to take off! Plans were made for a first European tour to step out of the Outback's shadow - but then came the pandemic, and one crisis followed another. Still, a delay isn't a cancellation: In the spring of 2026, The Clinch will release the digital singles "Melbourne" and "Journeyman" and announce their new album, "Time's Up", on the Sunny Bastards label! Their musical style and sound - a proven formula - remain unchanged, even if The Clinch dig even deeper into personal and societal issues. It's street punk that is authentic, moving, honest, and raw - free of melodrama: ten hard-hitting tracks that leave a mark! "Man's not fed on good intention. No Safe Spaces left to mention." Songs like "Stray Dogs" and "FED" are underdog anthems that get under your skin, dealing with struggle, despair, hope, and the refusal to let life keep you down. "Another day, another try"!
