After 10 years and 8 releases, Dunderbeist has finished the recording off their latest series of releases. An EP trilogy is planned, and the main theme of the 3 releases is doubt. The EP format was chosen to give the band the possibility to let the few tracks on each release get enough time and love. The 5 tracks individually take on the theme of doubt; doubting a state, a situation, a person or ones’ selves. The doubt as a diplomatic template and progress, as the superior creative force equal to the deepest paralyzing destructive abyss.
Dunderbeist about the theme: “Everything goes in circles, like clusters of returning moments that should feel like a new experience, but carries a tiny bit of variation. Some things will be added and some things deducted. Round and around. Day, week and year. The repetition is unavoidable. Seemingly infinite. But do we ever learn something new? Per the human method, we should improve for each new challenge and new happening, but then without regard to doubt.”
