Mid-90s emo indie / post-hardcore / alternative of the highest quality! Entropy (ex EA80 / The Now Denial) follow up with album number three. "Dharmakaya" picks up where "Death Spell" (2022) and "Liminal" (2020) left off and is reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine, Jawbox and Helmet. Some things are persistent. They follow you like a shadow, whether you want them to or not. Music, for example. Hans Frese spent his youth in various emo and hardcore bands such as Hillside and The Now Denial, before the fun came to an end when he entered so-called adulthood. No more band, concentration on job and co. We've all been there. But can it work - such a farewell to your real passions, to music? Obviously not. After more than 10 years without a band, the song ideas suddenly flowed out of nowhere. Riffs, some of which Hans had had in his head since he was a teenager, came together and suddenly resulted in coherent songs somewhere between Hüsker Dü, Nothing or Torche. Open guitars, great melodies, but at the same time a certain heaviness and monumentality. Frese found congenial partners in Philipp Heidemann (EA80, The Now Denial), Benjamin Koevener and Jens Sawatzki (Der Draht) and Entropy were born.
