Step into The Green Lilac Park: a richly imagined, 12-track journey from Liverpool's Moon, where psychedelic indie pop meets cinematic colour, memory and wonder. Produced by Yorkie, the album moves through love, loss, resilience and hope, creating a world that lingers long after the last note.
It has drawn strong praise: Darren Fletcher from Shindig awarded it four stars, while BBC Radio London DJ Gary Crowley called the single 'The Spaniard' "a killer tune".
This special limited-edition CD is made to be held onto, with an inner sleeve and an eight-page booklet featuring text by magnificent Liverpool writer Jeff Young. More than an album, it's a musical memory: a record, a sleeve and a story - a small piece of Liverpool to keep.
The musicians behind the album: Michael Dolan, best known for Windmill and Bird, heads the band as lead singer and guitarist; guitar and piano by guitar maestro Phil Melville of Springtime Anchorage; bass and arrangements by legendary Space bass player Yorkie; featured vocals from up-and-coming Liverpool songstress Emily Casey.
