Stavanger-based noise-rock band Poor Bambi will release their highly anticipated debut album, Skyscrapers Soaring, Yet We’re Drowning via Apollon Records.
Formed in the fall of 2020, Poor Bambi consists of Sarah Hestness (vocals and guitar), Espen Eidem (guitar), and Simen Amundrud (drums). In just a few years, the band has completed two Norwegian tours, performed at major festivals including JærnåBå and Fjellparkfestivalen, and even played a concert in New York.
Poor Bambi has released several singles that have garnered extensive radio coverage both in Norway and internationally, with airplay on stations such as KEXP (USA), Absolute Radio (UK), NRK P13, and NRK Rogaland. With their debut album, the band delivers a bold and immersive rock / noise-rock sound that captures both the soaring highs and introspective lows of modern life.
