The classicistic Swedish Black Metal band TROLLDOM was founded 2004 in Södermanland by guitarist/composer Swartadauþuz (BEKËTH NEXËHMÜ, MUVITIUM, AZELISASSATH, GREVE, BALWEZO WESTIJIZ).
Following up the long-in-gestation, twin 2022 debut albums "I Nattens Sken (Genom Hemligheternas Dunkel)" and "Av Gudars Ätt...", new album "Tronen" ('The Throne') continues TROLLDOM's quest to 'unshackle the spirit from false bounds of material existence' via symphonic and reverent Black Metal power.
A deep expression of second-wave Black Metal veneration, TROLLDOM deliver a potent barrage of addictive and darkly melodic supremacy - steeped in the aura of 1995-98 when the Swedish sound codified and bands like SETHERIAL, NAGLFAR, SACRAMENTUM and MÖRK GRYNING unleashed ripper after magnificent ripper.
Propelled by the storming drum-work of K. Paradis (BELPHEGOR, MELECHESH), "Tronen" uses anthemic leads, evocative vocals, stirring progressions, and the majestic keyboard adornments of Alex Poole/Graf Nuzawandils (MARTRÖÐ, SKÁPHE) to unify elements from the hyper-productive subterranean realm of Swartadauþuz into his most resolute and hook-laden manifestation to-date.
