TUNGSTEN are getting ready to unleash their fifth studio album entitled “Ashes”.
Originally formed in 2016 by drummer Anders Johansson together with his sons Nick and Karl Johansson, TUNGSTEN soon solidified their lineup with the addition of lead vocalist Mike Andersson. Since then, the band has established a strong live reputation, touring extensively across Europe alongside acts such as Bloodbound, Firewind, Sonata Arctica, All For Metal and others. Between touring and live performances throughout 2025, Tungsten focused on writing material for their upcoming album, aiming to create a powerful follow-up to 2024’s The Grand Inferno. Entered the studio in late 2025, the band recorded the songs for “Ashes” and are now ready to unleash their next chapter. With “Ashes”, TUNGSTEN continue their crusade, delivering irresistible metal with anthemic choruses.
