DYNAMIC 1990 BROADCAST FROM THE JAPANESE CAPITAL
David Bowie’s Sound+Vision Tour took place between 4 March and 29 September 1990. It was billed as a greatest hits tour, after which Bowie would retire his back catalogue of hit songs from live performance.
In May 1990, Bowie and his band performed two shows at the Tokyo Dome in the Japanese capital, which were both extraordinary concerts, and both remain fondly remembered by the Japanese fans who attended. And the second of these dates, 16th May, was recorded for live, simultaneous FM broadcast on Japanese radio.
The entire Tokyo 16/05/1990 concert is now available for the first time on this new two-instalment set, allowing not just the Japanese, but Bowie fans everywhere to re-live this stunning performance.
