M-Theory Audio is excited to reissue INTO ETERNITY's "The Scattering of Ashes" celebrating its 20th anniversary since being originally released on Century Media Records in 1996. This special limited-edition will be available on Timeless Winter colored vinyl and will include new personal liner notes from multiple members of the band sharing memories of the time period and the album's recording and touring campaign.
"The Scattering of Ashes" is the fourth full-length studio album by Canadian Progressive Death Metal band INTO ETERNITY. It is the first album to feature vocalist Stu Block (later of Iced Earth) and now longtime bassist Troy Bleich. The album was mixed by Andy Sneap (Judas Priest, Accept, Nevermore, Carcass) with cover art once again created by artist Mattias Noren (Sabaton, Evergrey, Kamelot, Stratovarius). The album debuted well selling 2,000 copies Soundscan its first week and lead to tours in support with names such as Dream Theater, The Haunted, Dark Tranquillity, Destruction, Edguy and the Gigantour with Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Opeth, Arch Enemy and Overkill.
